Got Leaks? We fix soggy basements.
As a preferred waterproofing contactor to builders of new homes, Foundation Systems is uniquely qualified to solve water problems in existing homes.
Inside System
The For-Ever-Dri® inside waterproofing system effectigvely directs water to a common collection point whereit is then channeled to the outside of the home. The process consists of inserting weep holes in the concrete block below the basement floor, allowing water that has been trapped in the block to be released into the newly installed PVC drainage pipe. The drainage pipe carries the water to a sump basket, which activates the sump pump and carries the water away from the house - guaranteeing a completely dry basement. This system comes with a transferable LIFETIME warranty.
Outside System
To install the Tuff-N-Dri® waterproofing system, the foundation walls are excavfated to the footer, cleaned and the draintile tested and replaced, if necessary. The Tuff-N-Dri® system, which consists of a sprayed on elastic membrane and Warm-N-Dri drainage / insulation board, is then applied. The addition of gravel and backfill completes the process. The homeowner now has a Dry AND Warm Basement.
Above Grade Sealants
Leaks can also occur in basements just below grade level. Water penetrates exposed brick and block and channels its way down the upper basement block. The sealing process begins with cleaning the area to be treated, then applying the customer's selection of one of Foundations Systems' sealants. The sealants greatly aid in repelling water, helping to ensure a completely dry basement.
