Unified Comfort Systems promotes energy efficiency, reducing energy costs, providing education in energy efficient practices, ensuring health and safety of the home as well as making the home a better place to live. Unified Comfort Systems has been trained by COAD in Athens Ohio and has received certifications enabling us to work with The Summit County Department of Development, Weatherization as well as The Stark County Community Action Agency. A statewide evaluation of Government Home Weatherization Assistance Programs showed energy savings averaged at least 25% per household per year for gas and electric utility customers.

Blower Door Testing

The blower door is a powerful computerized fan that mounts into the frame of an exterior door. The fan pulls air out of the house, lowering the air pressure inside. This test simulates a 20 mph wind against the home’s shell, forcing it to leak. This test will determine the air infiltration location and rating of a home.

Infra-red Camera Analysis

The infra-red camera enables the viewing of interior walls, windows and floors to discover if insulation exists.
